Bonsai Academy in Puerto Rico #1

The Bonsai Club de Puerto Rico has invited me to come for a weekend with my International Bonsai Academy - the full program. I cam a couple of days earlier and they showed me around the island. Juan Philippe drove me to the south-western part of the island, where it can be quite dry. There the have what they call 'the dry forest'(Guanica). It was quite interesting to do a walk along the coastline. I alos saw a lot of buttonwood. They look either like a shrub or like a real tree, but never like a Japanese juniper.

Thank you very much for your hospitality Juan Philippe.
